ALLOSAURUS
(pronounced Al-oh-SAWR-us) Allosaurus-The King of the Jurassic, was a huge, meat-eating dinosaur from  about 154 million to 144 million years ago. It was a classic theropod that lived in what is now the western United States. It was about 27 feet. Thought to be the TREX apex predator of it's time. ALthough smaller than REx it's hand claws were formable. Allosaurus fossils on the market are rare as many of the fossils are in Utah on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land and are thus owned by the government and unavailable to individual collectors. Allosaurus replicas are big sellers.
